Tijori — Secure Vault

Effective date: 13 July 2026 · Last updated: 13 July 2026

The short version: Tijori is a fully offline app. It collects no personal data, has no servers or accounts, shows no ads, and contains no analytics or tracking. Everything you put in Tijori is encrypted and stays on your device. We never see it, and it is never uploaded.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the Tijori — Secure Vault mobile application ("Tijori", "the app", "we", "us"), published by Big Helpers. It explains how the app handles your information. Because Tijori is designed to work entirely on your device, the honest answer to most privacy questions is: your information never leaves your phone.

2. Information we collect

We do not collect any personal information. Tijori has no user accounts, no sign-up, no cloud, and no backend servers that belong to us. Specifically, we do not collect, store on our systems, or transmit:

There is no "data collection" because there is nowhere for the data to go — Tijori does not send your information anywhere.

3. Everything stays on your device

All content you add to Tijori is stored locally on your device only, inside an encrypted vault. Your data is protected using strong, industry-standard cryptography (authenticated encryption with a key derived from your PIN using a memory-hard key-derivation function, and an encrypted local database). On supported devices, the key that unlocks your vault is additionally protected by the device's hardware secure element and your biometrics.

Because your data is encrypted with a key that only you can unlock, we have no way to access, recover, or reset your vault. If you forget your PIN, neither we nor anyone else can retrieve your contents. This is by design.

4. Device permissions and why they are used

Tijori may ask for the following permissions. Each is used only on your device and only for the feature described. No data gathered through these is ever uploaded or shared.

Camera — used only if you enable intruder capture, so the app can take a photo of anyone who enters a wrong PIN. These photos are stored inside your encrypted vault on the device.

Photo Library — used only when you choose to import photos or videos into your vault. Location and other metadata are stripped on import. Imported items are encrypted and kept on your device.

Microphone — linked by the audio/video playback component so you can play media stored in your vault. Tijori does not record from the microphone, and no audio is ever captured or uploaded.

Location — used only, if available, to note the approximate location of a failed unlock attempt in your on-device security log, so you can see where someone tried to open your vault. This is stored locally and never transmitted.

Face ID / Biometrics — used only to unlock your vault. Biometric data is handled entirely by your device's operating system; Tijori never sees or stores your fingerprint or face data.

5. No sharing with third parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your information — because we do not have it. Tijori contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs that collect your personal data.

6. Backups and exports you control

Tijori lets you create an encrypted backup of your vault and export it to a location you choose (for example, a file you save or share yourself). If you do this, that encrypted file is under your control and subject to the privacy terms of wherever you decide to store it. Tijori itself does not upload backups anywhere.

7. Data retention and deletion

Your data lives only on your device for as long as you keep it there. You can delete individual items within the app, and uninstalling Tijori removes the encrypted vault and its contents from your device. Any backup files you exported yourself remain wherever you saved them until you delete them.

8. Children's privacy

Tijori does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children. As the app collects no data at all, it does not gather information from children under any applicable age threshold.

9. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version at this same address. Because the app's privacy model is "collect nothing," we do not anticipate material changes.
