1. What is Tijori?

Tijori — Secure Vault is a fully offline encrypted vault for your photos, videos, documents, notes and cards. There are no accounts, no cloud and no ads: everything you store is encrypted with a key derived from your PIN and kept only on your device. See the privacy policy for the full details.

2. Frequently asked questions

I forgot my PIN. Can I get back in?
Yes — if you saved your recovery passphrase. On the lock screen tap Unlock with recovery key and enter the recovery passphrase you created during setup. Because Tijori is offline and end-to-end under your control, without the recovery passphrase a forgotten PIN cannot be reset by anyone — not even by us. There is no server copy of your key, so there is nothing we could unlock on your behalf.

What is the decoy PIN?
During setup you create two PINs. Your real PIN opens your private vault. The separate decoy PIN opens a second, innocuous vault — useful if you are ever pressured to unlock the app. Keep the two PINs different and share only the decoy one.

Is my data uploaded or backed up to a cloud?
No. Tijori never transmits your content anywhere. If you want a backup, use the in-app encrypted export — it produces an encrypted file that you store wherever you choose. Deleting the app without an export permanently deletes the vault.

Why does the app ask for camera, photos, microphone or location permission?
Each permission powers exactly one on-device feature: camera for optional intruder capture, photo library for importing media, microphone linkage only for media playback (nothing is ever recorded), and location only to note where a failed unlock happened in your on-device security log. Details are in the privacy policy. All of these are optional.

Face ID / fingerprint unlock is not offered on my device.
Biometric unlock appears only when your device has biometrics enrolled and hardware-backed key storage available. You can always unlock with your PIN.

I found a bug. How do I report it?
Email support@bighelpers.in with your device model, OS version and the steps that trigger the problem. Screenshots or a screen recording help a lot. We fix reported issues in the next update wherever possible.

How do I delete all my data?
Everything lives on your device, so deleting items in the app (or uninstalling the app entirely) removes your data. There is nothing stored on our side to delete.
