They said by Friday. You'll remember.
How Vaada works
When someone promises you something, write one line: who, what, by when. Vaada reminds you on the day, keeps a log of every postponement, and gives you a ready message to send them.
Capture from anywhere
- iPhone
- Assign the "Log a promise" shortcut to the Action button (Settings → Action Button → Shortcut), add the Vaada control to Control Center or the Lock Screen, add the widget, or say "Log a promise in Vaada" to Siri. You can also share a message from WhatsApp or Messages to Vaada.
- Android
- Add the Vaada tile to Quick Settings (swipe down twice, tap the pencil, drag Vaada up), add the widget, long-press the app icon for "Log a promise", or select text in any app and choose "Save as promise".
Common questions
- Why does a promise need a date?
- Because the follow-up is the point. If the person said "soon", Vaada picks tomorrow and marks the date as assumed so you can change it with one tap.
- When do reminders arrive?
- On the due day in the morning, at the due time, and once a day while the promise is overdue, a little firmer each time. Change the times in Settings → Reminders.
- Reminders are late on Android
- Allow exact alarms for Vaada in system settings (Settings → Reminders shows the row when it is off).
- Did Vaada send my message?
- No. Vaada drafts the message and hands it to WhatsApp, Messages, or Mail; you send it there. The promise shows "Handed to WhatsApp" so you know it was drafted.
- Where is my data?
- On your phone only. Settings → Your data lets you export or erase everything. See the privacy policy.
