Handling TDS on Big Helpers payments
Some Indian business clients may deduct TDS before paying Big Helpers, depending on their tax position and the nature of services purchased. TDS is handled by the payer under applicable Income Tax rules, so your finance or tax advisor should confirm the correct section and rate.
If you deduct TDS, pay only the net amount after deduction and share the deduction details with Big Helpers. Include the invoice number, gross invoice value, TDS amount, net paid amount, deduction section, TAN, and expected Form 16A timeline.
Your invoice may show a balance until TDS details are verified and reconciled. Do not reduce GST informally unless your advisor confirms the treatment.
