Fixing SSL certificate problems after a domain change
An SSL certificate allows your website to load securely over HTTPS. If visitors see Not Secure, certificate mismatch, or expired certificate warnings after a domain or hosting change, the issue is usually DNS, certificate coverage, or renewal.
Check that the domain points to the correct hosting server, both root and www names are covered, the certificate is installed on the active server, and redirects point to HTTPS. If a CDN or proxy is used, SSL must be enabled there too.
