Hosting migration checklist for websites and email
A smooth hosting migration needs more than copying website files. DNS, SSL, email, forms, databases, redirects, and backups all need to be checked before the final switch.

Before launch, lower DNS TTL where possible, copy the site to the new server, test it, and confirm forms send correctly. Do not cancel old hosting immediately. Keep it available until DNS has settled, the new site is stable, and email delivery is confirmed.
