Choose an App by the Job You Need to Finish Today

Describe the job, not the app. Five routing questions take you to one of fourteen Big Helpers apps, or to the honest none-of-these answer.

In brief

The fastest way to pick from fourteen apps is to describe the job, not the app. Ask what must be finished today, answer the routing questions below, and you land on one tool, or on the honest answer that no ready app fits and a custom build is the real option. Statuses here are quoted from the portfolio page checked on 29 August 2026: ten apps are "Available on iOS. Android is in controlled testing.", Grihini is "Available on iOS and Android.", and Copio, Harkara and KaryaYogi are early access with waitlists.

Five routing questions

Start at question one and stop at the first yes.

Question one: does the job involve other people's arrivals, payments or meals at home? If someone's salary must be recorded, the tool is Grihini, "Attendance, leave, salary and payment records for household staff", and it is the portfolio's only app you can install today on both iOS and Android. If the job is managing visitors or deliveries at a society gate, the tool is Agman, "Residential society and visitor workflows for safer, simpler arrivals", available on iOS with Android in controlled testing. If the job is logging what you ate and watching the weight trend, the tool is Burnie, "An Indian calorie, food logging and weight-trend companion", also iOS with Android in controlled testing.

Question two: is the job about private files or documents? If private photos or personal media need a safe home, Tijori is the match, "A fully offline encrypted vault for private photos and personal media." If an image needs resizing, stitching or scanning, or a PDF needs export, Pixifold covers "Private image and PDF tools for resizing, stitching, scanning and export." If a signed PDF's signature needs checking, SureSign is "A trust utility for checking cryptographic signatures in PDF documents." All three are available on iOS with Android in controlled testing.

Question three: is the job about your own attention? If the day's tasks, notes and habits must be captured, Taskss is "Offline-first tasks, notes, habits and a private journal in one place", available on iOS with Android in controlled testing. If the inbox is the problem, Harkara targets "Focused email reading that helps surface important messages and actions", early access, waitlist first. If you keep retyping the same text, Copio is "A privacy-first clipboard for securely reusing text across devices", also early access, waitlist first.

Question four: is the job public-facing or for earning? If citizens' RTI questions need answering, RTI Wiki brings "RTI knowledge, practical guides and citizen tools in a mobile experience." If you want to express a personal vision for India's centenary in your language, INDIA 2047 is "A multilingual Dream Card maker for sharing a personal vision for India." If you need one link page for your audience, YourLinks is "A creator workspace for publishing and managing a link-in-bio page." If ad and site earnings need review, AdScore is "Publisher revenue intelligence for reviewing AdSense and site earnings." All four are available on iOS with Android in controlled testing.

Question five: is the job private, workday planning? If the work is service delivery and the tools must stay private, KaryaYogi offers "Private planning, calculation and reference tools for service workflows." Its status is different from every app above: "Early access. The app remains in testing and review lanes." Today's action is the waitlist, not a store.

The none-of-these route

Some jobs deserve a straight no. None of the fourteen apps will build your company's website, run your industry-specific CRM, automate your warehouse intake or connect the two systems only your business uses. When the job is a workflow unique to your organisation, the route is Big Helpers services: web development from ₹15K to 4L, mobile apps from ₹50K to 4L, custom CRM and software from ₹50K to 4L, MVP development from ₹2L to 8L. The services team's stated approach is to map the described problem to the right option before anything is built, and the fastest entry is the contact page.

Choosing this route early is not failure; it is accuracy. A portfolio app solves a shared problem well. A custom build solves your problem exactly. Misreading which one you have wastes weeks.

Two checks before you act

First, platform reality. If you carry an Android phone, installable today means Grihini only; every other installable app in the table is iOS-only in public release, and three early-access apps are on no store at all. Second, status freshness. Availability moves as testing lanes progress, so confirm on the portfolio page before you search a store, because searching a store for an unlisted app is how clone apps get installed by mistake.

Your next step

Name the one job that must be finished today, find its row, and act on that row alone: install from the portfolio page's store link, or join that app's waitlist, or, for the none-of-these case, describe the job on the contact page and let the team map it.

Disclosure: all fourteen apps and the custom services come from the same maker, Big Helpers. The routing above quotes published descriptions only and adds no unverified capability.

Frequently asked questions

Why choose by job instead of by app?

Because apps are means and jobs are ends. Naming the job first prevents buying a tool and then inventing a use for it.

What if two rows match my day?

Take the one whose job is due sooner. The other keeps; a second app added next week works as well as one added today.

What if my job matches an early-access app?

Join the waitlist for that app only and use your current method meanwhile. The portfolio page states selections are independent.

I use Android. What can I actually install?

Grihini today, from the App Store's counterpart on Google Play. Ten more apps are in controlled testing on Android, which means no public listing yet.

Do any of these apps replace a custom build?

No. They cover personal and small-scale jobs. When the work is your organisation's own workflow, the services route is the correct exit.

Where do the exact descriptions come from?

Every quoted line is taken verbatim from the portfolio page on 29 August 2026; this guide adds no features to them.
