The two-week setup timeline

Days 1–3 — domain, hosting, photography

We buy the domain, set up hosting + email, and either guide your phone-photography or send a brief to a local photographer. By Day 3 you have ~20 properly-captioned photos.

Days 4–7 — site build + booking engine

We build the 5-page site, install the booking widget, configure rates by season, set the cancellation policy, and connect Razorpay. By Day 7 the site is reachable on a temp URL.

Days 8–11 — Google Business + WhatsApp + channel manager

Google Business Profile created, postcard verified, listing photos uploaded. WhatsApp Business catalogue + auto-replies set up. Channel manager synced with Airbnb / MMT / Booking.

Days 12–14 — go-live + first direct-booking discount

Site goes live on your domain. We run a launch checklist (sitemap, robots.txt, schema markup, PageSpeed). You get a "10% direct-booking" discount code to start funnelling repeat guests off-platform.

What we don't do — and what you should know

We don't help you avoid statutory compliance. A homestay in India needs state tourism registration, a municipal trade licence, fire NOC where applicable, FRRO Form C reporting for foreign guests, and police-station antecedent verification of staff. Frequently asked questions

Do I need to leave Airbnb / MMT / Booking?

No. The package keeps you on those platforms via channel-manager sync. The point is to add a direct channel — not replace existing ones. Most of our clients run all three together, with direct booking growing quietly to 40–60% of total bookings over 12 months.

What if I'm in a remote hill village with poor internet?

The site itself works fine; your guests don't visit your village to use the site. For your own back-end work (managing bookings, replying to WhatsApp), we configure offline-friendly tools that sync when you have connectivity.

Do I need GST registration to use this?

Only if your annual receipts cross Rs 20 lakh. We help you evaluate and set this up when the time comes. No GST needed for smaller operations.

Will my listing on Airbnb be affected if I have a website?

No. Airbnb's terms allow independent channels. The only thing they don't allow is moving an existing Airbnb booking off-platform. Your website attracts new direct bookings; existing Airbnb bookings stay on Airbnb.

Why pay you when I can do this myself?

You can — the RTI Wiki "Why every homestay needs a website" guide gives you the 7-day DIY walkthrough. Some operators prefer that route. Others prefer to spend the same 7 days hosting their next set of guests and have someone else build the stack. Both are valid choices.

What's the catch on the monthly managed price?

None. The Operator tier monthly fee covers: hosting, content updates twice a month, photo refresh once a quarter, review-aggregation, monthly dashboard, plus reactive support. We don't lock in long contracts; cancel monthly.
