Why DNS changes take time to show up
When Big Helpers updates DNS for your domain, the change is published at your DNS provider first, then copied across the internet by DNS resolvers. This delay is usually called propagation.
Common records include A or AAAA for website servers, CNAME for aliases, MX for email routing, and TXT for verification, SPF, DKIM, or DMARC. The main timing factor is TTL, or time to live. A shorter TTL tells resolvers to check for updates sooner.
Most changes appear within minutes, but some networks can hold older answers for several hours. If your website or email behaves differently on different devices, DNS caching is often the reason.
